About Our Program's Creators
Lynn Hunter, Ed.D
Dr. Hunter is a curriculum development and distance education specialist with a lifelong dedication to changing the way that children learn. Driven by years of hands-on experience in teaching, supervision, consulting and media production, she created The Dooples Enterprise.
Dr. Hunter began her career in New York City Public Schools, as a teacher, curriculum coordinator and supervisor. Soon after, she entered the educational sales and publishing industry as a consultant, sales representative and regional manager for dozens of national textbook publishers. Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Hunter pursued her education at Brooklyn College, earning a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Education and Doctorate in Education Leadership/Child and Youth Studies from Nova Southeastern University. In addition, she has earned professional certifications in early child and elementary education, supervision and administration, and gifted & talented education.
Looking toward the future, Dr. Hunter and her team hope to continue providing learning alternatives through multimedia, as she aims to ensure that stories and programs featuring “The Dooples” become household commodities for children around the world.
Charles Mandracchia is a member of ASIFA Hollywood (International Animated Film Society, SAG-AFTRA, AEA & The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, New York Chapter The New York Emmy Awards.) His films You Got a Problem, We Are Friends and Big Pasta-The Jazzy, Cigar-Chomping, Honky-Tonk Musical have won several IMDB festivals, 4 Hermes Awards and 6 Telly Awards. Charles has appeared in numerous films, Broadway and Off Broadway productions (Original Broadway cast of "Grand Hotel", "South Pacific" and "Porgy and Bess", at the New York City Opera and Equity Library Theater); The Dooples in the Land of Doo – The Musical.
Taught middle and high school students of New York City Public Schools for decades.
